The mission of the NMJLF is to identify and support members of 4-H and FFA who have chosen to prepare themselves to become active, responsible participants in New Mexico communities. There are clear indications of leadership potential and self-motivation when a young person joins 4-H or FFA. These young leaders deserve the support and encouragement of the entire community. Through fund-raising initiatives implemented by NMJLF, the board is able to financially support programs targeting these young people and encourage qualities such as Leadership, Education, Citizenship, Self-determination, Cooperation, Integrity, Maturity, and Excellence.
